Mudroom Reveal

Hi friends!

I hope you all had a great weekend. We went down to Mike’s parents’ cabin on Saturday and then worked on projects at our house on Sunday. Our closet is the next big project we have going and it’s not close to being done but I’m already in love with it. Nothing makes me happier than having a place for everything:) I’ll share a mood board later this week so you can see what’s coming up! In the meantime, we also finished up a few little touch-ups in mudroom area of the shared mudroom/laundry room and I was able to take pictures of that yesterday. The laundry area isn’t done yet but I’ll be sure to share that when it is {those oak cabinets will be painted}. When you walk in the door from the garage, this area is directly to your right. It’s the perfect drop spot for purses and bags after work and a place to leave our shoes each day. I love having everything we need to get out the door in one spot. We also built a broom closet next to the bench. We didn’t put a closet in our house plans so these seemed like the perfect spot to hide our cleaning supplies. I love that it’s close to the kitchen for quick spills and keeps everything out of sight. I’ll have tutorials for everything later this week but today it’s all about the pictures!

mudroom 1This entire space cost around $200! The bench/hook area was about $100 and the closet was another $100. I created the little “Brooms N Things” stencil on the closet with my Silhouette. I’m telling you guys this is by far my most favorite tool. It can be used for crafts, home decor, gift tags, labels, the list goes on and on. The sale goes through today so you still have time to treat yourself with an awesome deal! Check out the promos going on now and use the code POLISHED at check-out!

What do you think of the mudroom? Do you have one in your house?
