Baby Bottoms and Chunky Thighs

Dressing babies for winter can be tough. The clothes are cute, but I hate making her deal with being all bundled up all the time. Molly looks adorable in her big winter suit…

But I can’t help but feel I have her trapped! I hate wearing a coat in the car so I feel her pain. Some days at home lately, I’ve been throwing on a diaper, onesie and some baby leggings. We need to see more of that belly and those thighs anyway… they are too cute to have clothes on them:)

You may remember my post on the adorable baby store, Stash, and the sweet cloth diapers we bought. I was very excited about them at first because it solved our peeing through the jammies problem. However, after a few weeks, she started breaking out in a horrible rash and it turned out her little sensitive skin didn’t get along with those diapers:( So we were back at square one. We recently tried out Well Beginnings diapers for something new.

They are adorable, move well with our super active baby, and are very absorbent. I love the little elephant on them:) We also tried out their wet wipes. Molly has not been able to use wipes since she was about 3 weeks old. She gets a bad rash {seeing a pattern?} so we’ve been on a strict paper towel/wash cloth and water method to avoid it. However, we decided to go for it and tried these wipes out-they are alcohol free and hypoallergenic so they sounded perfect for our Molly girl. We have used them for about 2 weeks and they were great, but just in the last couple of days we noticed some rash starting to come back so we stopped. We can’t have this sweet face in pain:)

So, we’re still using the Well Beginnings diapers but no longer using the wipes. Do any of you have great recommendations for babies with sensitive skin? Anyone else have trouble with baby wipes or certain diapers? We could use some advice!

Oh my goodness! The picture with her leaning on one arm is too much. Modeling those leg warmers! :)

  2. That has to be so frustrating that everything makes her break out! I used to use gDiapers and a friend of mine had a babe who broke out with everything, and the gDiapers helped her.
