I have a really quick and easy nursery project for you today. I have been working with the very sweet Elizabeth from Chasing Paper who was kind enough to send us a roll of her awesome removable wallpaper. This stuff is awesome. It’s a peel-and-stick and couldn’t be easier to put up and I’m sure just as easy to take it down. I have a few other little projects in mind to use this wallpaper, but I wanted to start with something super simple. Simple in that it only took about 10 minutes to do. These horrible gold closet door pulls needed to go in the nursery. The obvious option would be paint, but I loved this paper so much I wanted to incorporate them into the decor. Here is what the doors looked like before:
I cut squares from the wallpaper to cover the pulls. And please ignore my swollen sausage fingers. That’s what happens when you are 8 1/2 months pregnant and just get done working out. It aint a pretty sight by the end of the day, folks.
Then I pressed the paper into the pulls.
It plays really well off of the polka dot sheets and curtains.
Sweet, right? Head over to Emily’s site and see a ton more projects you can use this wallpaper for. I have a few more ideas coming your way also!
What would you do to get rid of ugly gold door pulls?
