Our Christmas Living Room

After sharing the ornament tutorials last week, I thought it would be fun to share our whole living room Christmas decor.  I used a lot of items from previous years, but also swapped out and added some new things.  Last year I went with a neutral color scheme, spray painting old ornaments gray and white.  This year, I was into glitter and metallics.  Our tree is all silver and gold, with touches of red {with my DIY ribbon wrapped and ribbon stuffed ornaments} throw in.  The mantle is more traditional, with green and red with silver.

As I was taking pictures of the room, Pudge decided to sit in the middle.  Apparently he thought he was an important part of the Christmas decorations:)

You can read more about the wood sign from last year’s dining room buffet, along with Pudge’s DIY stocking and matching mitten pillow.

I printed off this printable and stuck it in the frame by our Willow Tree Nativity.  Beautiful words.

I always like to hang wreaths up our staircase.  I use one with a big red bow in the middle and two smaller ones with silver on either side.

And here is the room all lit up at night:

I just love the Christmas season:)  What is your color scheme this year?
