Day 11: Preggo Pics
| October 11, 2012 | Posted by Jessie under Baby, Pregnancy |
It’s about that time for belly pics. When we started building the bar in the kitchen, we took down our old chalkboard and hung it on a wall upstairs for weekly pictures. We started taking them for fun at 7 weeks, even though I clearly hadn’t started growing yet. It was more for some “before pics.” We added a couple pieces of info of what happened that week so we can remember everything. I feel like I look smaller from weeks 7 to 8 {which could either be from not eating much or weird posture}, but I can tell a little difference in week 13. My belly is still just a little pooch, but my pants are definitely getting tight. I think dresses and leggings will be my daily wardrobe for awhile. My mom bought me a belly band so I may bust that out soon too. I decided to wear the same dress in each picture so we could really tell the difference. I stuffed a pillow in it when I decided to wear it for the pictures, just to make sure it could stretch for the long haul:) Yes, we missed a couple of weeks, but hopefully we can keep up better as we go along.
And, yes I have totally awkward posture. I feel like it looks like I’m sticking out my booty and stomach {which I’m totally not-just horrible posture} so I’ll have to work on that one. Hopefully my next collage will be less awkward:)
How did you/would you document your pregnancy?

So cute! It’s going to be fun to watch that belly grow! I did just belly shots (mostly because it was early in the morning when we shot them and I looked like hell, haha). I am already thinking of better ways to document baby #2 (when the time comes of course). I love you chalkboard idea! Very cute mama!
Jessie! SO excited for you and glad to follow the journey… your pics are too cute!
You are the cutest mamma ever! Course I’m certainly not at all predudice; haha! And I do believe I CAN see a little bump starting to form! I also did pictures but not until later in the game. Great idea to start out from the beginning!
