Project Sneak Peaks

I think I finally turned the corner of my sickness last night and am feeling more and more like myself. That means it’s time to tackle all these half-finished projects! Yay! Mike has been hard at work while I’ve been on the couch so he has already accomplished quite a bit recently. Here are some sneak peaks…
Half bath projects. The stenciling is up to me since Mike strongly dislikes any sort of paint job:) Here is a peak of the pattern {touch-ups are needed, but you get the idea}
Mike installed the granite and is partially finished with the sink and faucet. Just waiting for our drain to arrive so it can all be in full use again. Let me just say even though it doesn’t work yet, it is gorgeous!
Moving on from the bathroom, we just received a new rug from Shaw Floors/HGTV and it’s so pretty. Right now it’s living in the in entry, but I’m not sold on that for a permanent location. It will probably hop around the house until it lands in the perfect spot.
And, finally, we’re spreading the free granite love to our kitchen. No, we aren’t getting rid of an inch of our beloved concrete counters:) We are adding a bar! Fun stuff. You’ll get the full scoop soon, but we removed our old desk, added extra tall lower cabinets, installed the granite, and put up the same subway tile as the rest of our kitchen backsplash. We have lots more in store for this area so stay tuned!
My BFF is coming in town and spending the weekend with us, but our goal is to try and finish off this bathroom before she arrives. Stenciling, beadboard installation, and proper plumbing would be a good start:) Come back next week for a giveaway so you can stencil a room of your own!
