Craft Club

Hey everyone!
I have a really fun idea to share today. A fellow teacher of mine/friend came up with a great idea to help lift everyone’s spirits and lighten to load around school with all the busyness and stress of the start of the school year: a craft club! And she asked if I would lead it and come up with the ideas:) I loved the idea and started brainstorming right away. Some crafts will be classroom oriented {like my welcome door sign} and some will be for the home. The overall plan is to meet once a month after school. I’ll make the craft ahead of time, send out a picture, supply list, and where to get the supplies, plus a total cost {I promised they would all be $10 or wayyy less:)}. That way each month, everyone can decide based on the craft if they want to come and get their supplies to bring with them. I sent out an email to the staff explaining our little group and asked if anyone would want to join. I’m happy to say we have about 18 members and counting {I’ll only email those who wanted to participate with the monthly craft}! We are planning on having our first craft day in a couple weeks but I thought it would be a fun idea to share here on the blog today. It doesn’t matter where you work or where you spend your days, this would be a fun idea for any group. If you are a stay at home mom, plan a day with your girlfriends for projects! Bring it to your business and get together after-hours. I think it’s a great time for bonding and getting to know people you may not mingle with at work or interact with on a daily basis. I’ll be sure to share our monthly crafts here on the blog too!
So, what do you say? Anyone want to start a group with us?
