Hi everyone! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend celebrating the fathers in your life. We had everyone over here for a cookout and had a great time. Today I’m backtracking to the laundry room…I have a quick, easy tutorial to bring a little color to any space.
They are open on the top and bottom so before I could pour the paint in, I had to wrap the bottom with foil. You can use plastic wrap or anything else also that would have a nice tight hold on the bottom.
I used the same paint sample that I bought to paint the laundry room art.
Once all the glass is covered, stand the vase up and let all the paint run to the bottom. Once the interior was dry, I removed the foil and poured the excess paint back into my sample. Then I sat the vase onto a paint tray until the bottom was also dry. You could do this same thing with a normal vase, just turn it upside down for the paint to drain out the opening. I wanted to add a little something extra so I took some of the sisal rope from our drying rack project.
I like how they add a little more color to the shelves and tie in the cabinet door art.
