InstaFriday-First week of Summer

Happy Friday! I’m linking up with Jeannett again this week with some fun Instagram pictures from my first week of summer break:)
Since Mike had Monday off, we decided to get up early to start our day off with a jog {ya know, to burn off all those cook-out calories}. Bad choice. Miserably hot, but we survived.
Ever wonder what your pet does all day while you’re working? Mike and I joke about what Pudge does all the time, but I was able to see him in action this week. Action my be the wrong word. Pretty sure this pup sleeps for the entire 9 hours we’re working because this is what I witnessed most days:
Speaking of that sweet, lazy bum, we gave him a hair cut this week. So handsome.
To celebrate this being my first week off for the summer, I snuck in a little relaxation and sunbathing.
I shared our next room makeover with you this week and I’ve actually already started to get to work on it. Yay! Mike had Thursday off {yeah, he only had to work 3 days this week. He’s a lucky duck} so we picked up wall paint and cabinet paint and got to work. I ended up going with “Elephant Skin” for the cabinets and absolutely love it. It’s a pretty, muddy gray that will look great against my soft minty walls:)
While I was painting, a little rain storm blew in. Cool cloud show.
And just because I love them so much, here’s a pic of our happy little family. Two of my favorite qualities about Pudge: he’s flopsy and cuddly, like us:)
