FFF: February Wrap-Up

Happy Friday!

We all know by now that I love a good montly wrap-up.  It’s nice to see what has been checked off the list {and added to it} over the month, and also give you quick links to check out any posts you may have missed.  Let’s get to it.

I started off the month by sharing how we now care for our butcher block countertop and our DIY concrete counters.

Next I shared my dream home…which I still think about often:)

I shared my spunky $2 step-stool makeover to go in our closet.  Chevron and houndstooth all in one!

As we started working on our new dining table, I wanted to make over our parsons chairs to give them a new look as well.  I started off by stenciling fabric for 3 of the chairs.

Then I shared how to sew the parsons chair covers and showed the other 3 chairs, which I covered in gray linen.

I made a sweet little printable to celebrate Valentine’s Day.

The wonderful Traci, from Cleverly Inspired, came by to share a sweet tutorial on how to makeover a plain terra cotta pot.

Then came our biggest project of the month, our new round dining table!  Built by Mike himself:)  I shared a slew of pictures here and the full tutorial here.

Since we are switching all the tables around in our house {at least it seems that way}, we are in the middle of purchasign/building more seating.  I asked for your input on what kind of cushions to add to our kitchen benches and got some great feedback here.

We took a road trip to Cincinnati last weekend and were able to do some shopping at Ikea where we scored a new barn style light for the dining room.

My mom is hosting a bridal shower tomorrow and I was in charge of creating the gift bags.  I shared my simple tutorial here.

And on the leap day in February, I shared a quick, easy, and healthy chicken fried rice.

That was our month in a nutshell.  What did you accomplish last month?  Any great posts to share?

Have a great weekend!
