Well I did better than I expected. I think you’ll be proud of me. If nothing else, I’m proud of me:) If you don’t know what I’m talking about, read about why I’m a 95%er here. Here’s how I did over the last week:
finish chair seamvelcro slipcover to the back of the couchpaint behind kitchen cabinet hingestake off black out lining from coral curtainssew black out lining on bedroom curtains- fill nail holes in kitchen cabinet trim
- fill holes in master bedroom nook trim
Not bad right? I guess you could say I’m a 100% finisher 70% of the time. Is that any better? At least we have some projects that are completely finished and I have to admit that I felt so accomplished when I checked that list off last weekend. The curtains were very time consuming but probably the most impactful project to get done. There is a street lamp not too far from our bedroom window and it let just enough light in to be annoying. See the difference?
Granted, this was taken in the middle of the day, but you can see how much light gets through those unlined curtains. Now we are sleeping peacefully again:)
Take my word for it-tackle those little projects and you’ll feel like this:
Ok, maybe not that intense but you’ll feel better. I always feel better when I check stuff off my to-do list. I have a few more projects lined up for this weekend so my goal is not just to start, but to finish. What goals are you working on?

Your blog is so motivating! I feel ready to tackle on all those little projects around the house, and maybe even sew myself some curtains now!
