Michelle over TenJune is hosting an awesome 30 Day Photo Challenge starting today. Since my photography skillz don’t quite deserve that “z” yet, I thought maybe I could improve with a little practice along with some fellow bloggers. It started last Wednesday but you can still join in! Here’s the layout:
Each week we’ll link up the past 7 days of challenges and see how we did. I’ll admit, these pics took some practice but I had fun playing with my camera. I tried to change aperture and shutter speed settings to see if I can could get some clearer shots. Here’s what I ended up with.
Day 1: Self-Portrait. This was the hardest one for me because taking pictures of yourself is just plain awkward. I’m sure my neighbors were wondering what I was doing during my little after-work photo shoots on the patio:)
Day 2: What You Wore. My new fave boots
Day 3: Clouds. This was a little tricky because there has literally been 0 clouds around here lately. Lots of sun and blue sky, but I managed to snap up these when a few fleeting clouds rolled through yesterday.
Day 6: From a Low Angle: This is the underneath of my kitchen chandelier.
Day 7: Fruit. I used the little apple display from our kitchen island photo shoot.
So what do you think? Any tips? Favorites? Wanna join? I’d love to see what others are doing! Be sure to head over to TenJune to see some more eye candy:)
