Farmhouse Inspiration

Our kitchen remodel is well underway and since I’m not sharing any of our progress until it’s done, I thought I would give you a little inspiration in the meantime. Farmhouse sinks are in kitchens all over the place these days. Unfortunately, they are pricey. Really pricey. Pinterest is one my new obsessions {good thing I’m not working during the summer or I would get nothing done} so pinned a few beautiful farmhouse sinks that I love to share with you all.
Some of the color scheme/materials around this beauty are very similar to what’s happening here.
This one is h.u.g.e.
Love the blue cabinetry around this sink.
The ruffly fabric underneath softens this room.
Love the aged look of the space surrounding the sink.
And this is the one we ordered earlier in the week!
We weren’t sure if we were going to be able to fit one of these sinks into our budget but after lots of research, we found this beauty at Menards. It is on sale running through the 12th so we scored this guy for $269!!!! That even beats Ikea for those of you out there keeping score. It should be here in a couple weeks, right around the time we should be ready to install the counters:)
What are your thoughts on farmhouse sinks?
LOVE the farmhouse sink! We are still a ways away from planning for a new home and kitchen, but I know this is the style I want to go with. What a great price and I love that is is a double!

I’ve grown more and more in love with farmhouse sinks but the fact that it’s just one big basin meant I would never have one. I LOVE the one you chose!!
