Baby Gifts

Looking for a great gift for that friend/neighbor/coworker who just had a baby?  I found this awesome idea from one of my fave blogs: Jones Design Co.  Burp cloths.  You can check out her tutorial here.  I loved the idea and thought I would try my own.

I added a little extra touch by putting a “C” (for the little guy’s name) on one and I cut out one of those cute little birdies and put it on the other.  I used terry cloth (the blue side) and a soft cuddly fleece fabric for the other side.  The total for this project cost me about $3.

*Update* Here is a cute little girl version too:

You can find the full tutorial that I used from the Jones Design Co link above.  I stitched the letters and the animals to the terry cloth (before sewing the two sides together).  Easy, unique, and super cute.
