Handmade Gifts

One of my favorite gifts this year was handmade from my awesome sister-in-law. She took a canvas and covered it in pages from a Bible and then painted an H and two birds in the corner. It is special because she made it herself-it’s beautiful and meaningful…and looks great in our dining room.
Handmade gifts are super cool. I made quite a few this year-mostly painted kitchen towels. They are typically inexpensive but hold a lot of meaning. People appreciate handmade gifts because you took the time to create it yourself. What handmade gifts did you give or receive?

That is a very special gift! You have a wonderfully creative sister-in-law and it’s no wonder the two of you are so close!! And what a perfect place to display it!!
I also received a hand made gift and every time I look at it I know who it came from and also appreciate the thoughtfulness of it!
